‘The Few’ – RAF Fighter Pilot, 1940 Battle of Britain

Standalone resin bust, mounted on a solid brass socle, mounted (off-centre) into a circular plinth painted in RAF roundel colours, covered in a glass cloche (not pictured) to protect from dust and dirt.

Entirely hand painted in acrylics. Additional shoulder brassard plaques reading “NEW ZEALAND” have been added to commemorate the air crew from the commonwealth who joined the RAF and helped defend the world from the sweeping tide of fascism.
